Subreddit Rules
1. Not Cosplay
All submissions must contain a direct link to media that features women in cosplay. A good-faith effort to dress up like a character (or, in some cases, as a particular genre) is required. We allow original cosplay, however it will be held to a higher standard than cosplay of an established character. Prop-work, home-made clothing, armor, and/or cosplay-appropriate make-up must be included in the post. Original costumes featuring Halloween store items or generic lingerie will be removed.
2. Piracy
Sharing leaked exclusive content from Patreon or similar pay-walled sources is strictly prohibited in this subreddit and may break site-wide rules.
3. Incorrect Title
Post titles should include the name of the character being portrayed, and if not a self post; will require crediting the featured cosplayer(s). If it is yourself, you may omit your name, however it must be tagged with “Self”. Moderators may remove posts with inaccurate or click bait titles. Additionally titles should not be used to directly promote the sale of goods, services or causes (such as requesting subscribers, buyers or votes).
4. Not Safe For Work
Any submissions containing nudity, near nudity, suggestive poses or suggestive themes should be marked as NSFW. NSFW rules should comply with our "Explicit Content" rule (Rule 5).
5. Explicit Content
Media showing genitalia, adult toys, bodily fluids, or depictions of sexual acts are not appropriate for this subreddit and will be removed. The showing of bare breasts is acceptable, however this should be marked as NSFW.
6. Reposts and Overposting
Reposts and overposting are regulated as to allow a fair chance for new images and new users to reach the front page. Different photos/video of the same cosplay made by the same cosplayer should be added to a "gallery" within a 30 day period. Multiple posts of the same cosplay/cosplayer made within a 30 day period will be removed in accordance with our overposting rule.
7. Flaming, Trolling and Disrespect
Respect the cosplayers and other posters. Comments intended to provoke hostile reactions from other users may be removed at the moderators' discretion.
8. No AI Generated Cosplay
While AI is frequently used in photo editing and backgrounds, we do not allow AI cosplayers under any circumstances.
